So last week I pretty much pissed off everyone in the admin dept. I can't even feel bad about it because I didn't do anything wrong. I simply started asking questions about how/why things are done the way they are and because they feel threatened they now hate me. They just don't like being questioned because they really can't justify their actions, or lack there of.

We have a girl that does our filing who is lazy and stupid. She consistently is making errors and when she is talked to about it she becomes a bitch and acts like a high schooler (even though she is 20). We say she is so "high school musical". Her supervisors only reinforce her terrible work ethic by reinforcing her behavior. This is word for word the email me and Heather got from her last week after she was "filing" in our area.

I am just e-mailing a couple of concerns I have regarding the task of the weekly Arrowhead filing that I take care of.

First, I have noticed the change in the filing system due to the 5S event that took place recently in your department. As that has made a noticeable and positive difference in how the files are arranged, I still feel that the effort and time I give to lend a hand in filing for Arrowhead is not up to standards and that I am unable to do a through job as I am not familiar enough with the paperwork and files I am working with.

I find, the time I take to interrupt the two of you in your daily job to ask the "filing related" questions to be proactive to not make filing errors on my part, is not helpful to the two of you in the long run.

A couple recent error findings were:

• Paperwork that was not even meant to be filed in the "to be filed" bins.
• Paperwork that did not give appropriate info for an outsider to know what customer/job it was related to.

Also, with the Jamar tasks I am in charge of weekly, I am able to only set aside one day a week to help with the Arrowhead filing, and I feel if it were done daily it would not be a large task for someone to take on.

Lastly, I would be happy to help in any way I can, if I am able to get the appropriate training of the paperwork I am handling. But at this time I do not feel I am adequate to be filing with the little training and knowledge of the Arrowhead files I have at this time.

Please let me know if this is something that can be looked into, or if there is someone else more familiar with these files that can take on this small daily duty.

Ok, I'm sorry but if it is so damn easy why can't you handle it? Oh, you haven't received the proper training. LIES! You passed the first grade and learned the ABC's. Seriously, I made her magnets that are color coded and list what goes in each drawer, made a spreadsheet with a detailed description of what goes in each filing bin, draw, folder, etc. IT IS SO BASIC. I guess we are proably wasting her time. I mean, she could be looking at her Facebook instead or reapplying her makeup. Sorry for the inconvenience. I know it is a "small daily duty" but my manager seems to think that I have more to bring to the company instead of spending my time filing. What does she think an office assistant does?? I guess she is pretty busy watering all the plants, including the plastic ones, and making coffee. EFF....grow up!!!
